Mississauga, ON - Ellison Technologies, provider of advanced machining solutions to metal-cutting manufacturers and their global affiliates, recently announced a new Service Technician/Applications Trainer, Jason Holder, to its Canada operation.

Ellison Technologies, the largest CNC machine tool distributor in North America, have announced the appointment of Robert Dunbar as vice president and general manager of their Canadian operations.

Mori Seiki and Ellison Technologies will host a grand opening event at its Mississauga, Ontario facility, to introduce and celebrate the collaboration of the two companies, as well as showcase the latest advances in Mori Seiki machine tools and Ellison Technologies Automation technology to Canadian manufacturers.

The N Series has been Mori Seiki’s best-selling series with 28,000 units sold since the release of the NV5000 in 2002. The X-Class machine has been designed as a result of thousands of users' feedback on the popular N Series.

Mori Seiki has announced that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Ellison Technologies to serve and support Canada, effective August 9, 2010.
