DMG / Mori Seiki Open House draws a crowd with new tech; positive manufacturing news from StatsCan.

From February 7th to 11th, DMG / Mori Seiki welcomed around 5,000 visitors to an open house at the DECKEL MAHO facility in Pfronten, Germany. The event featured a variety of seminars and lectures, 63 high-tech machines in operation, and five world premieres. Here we feature some of the machines on show at the event.

SCHUNK announced recently an agreement it has reached with DMG / MORI SEIKI to be an official DMG / MORI SEIKI Qualified Products supplier (DMSQP). The DMSQP was created by DMG / MORI SEIKI to ensure that all peripheral equipment used on their lathes and machining centers fulfill their requirements in terms of quality and performance. All products have been strictly selected and approved by DMG/ MORI SEIKI engineers in order to be a part of the DMQP.

Hoffman Estates, IL - BIG Kaiser Precision Tooling welcomed customers and partners to its new headquarters Grand Opening on April 29-30. The event was an opportunity for visitors to see the elevated level of expertise and dedicated resources available to support the extensive line of BIG Kaiser products.

DMG / Mori Seiki USA has announced that its annual Innovation Days event will take place at the company’s Headquarters and Chicago Technical Center on May 24-26. Innovation Days 2010 will mark the first joint event of DMG / Mori Seiki USA under the partnership that began April 1, 2010.
