The site is also a comprehensive source for all of Cincinnati’s products and services including equipment, software, material handling and controls, and visitors can submit direct questions to the applicable departments within the company.
 Madera, CA — A new calculator for evaluating bending machine tooling is now available for the Apple iPhone. Developed by tube bending machinery specialist Unison, the calculator enables users to quickly and easily determine the tooling needed for performing a particular bending task on any type or make of tube bender. Simply by entering the bend radius, tube diameter and wall thickness – in metric or imperial units – users can instantly gain a clear visual representation of the type of mandrel and wiper die they will need to employ to achieve a perfect bend. TRUMPF has announced that its TruBend Series 7000 precision press brake is now available in North America.
 In 1974 Andy Laitila was in his early 20’s living in his native Finland when he and his wife planned a two-year visit to Canada. This “two-year visit” soon became a life-changing adventure. Laitila fell in love with Canada and soon adopted the country for his new home, raised a family, and founded Laicor Fixtures, a manufacturer of retail checkout counters and cabinets based in Peterborough, ON. LVD Strippit introduces the ToolCell press brake system with integrated tool changer unit. ToolCell’s automated tool changing system reduces press brake set up time, maximizing throughput and efficiency for small to medium batch production. ToolCell was introduced at EuroBLECH this year.
Bystronic introduces new options for Xpert series press brakes. The new Optical Bend Guiding System encompassing LED technology enhances press brake operations and reduces setup times.
LVD Strippit now offers the Vari-VEE V30-140 CNC adjustable Vee die for its complete range of PPEB and Easy-Form precision press brakes. The Vari-VEE V30-140 complements the company’s heavy-duty Vari-VEE option. This smaller version Vee die offers the benefits of a variable and adjustable bottom Vee die to a broader range of LVD Strippit press brake models from 320 to 1000 tons and up to 315 in. in length.
 LVD Strippit now offers 35 to 50 ton configurations of its PPEC series of mid-range press brakes. PPEC press brakes combine a rugged, simple design and easy-to-use features to provide performance and value for forming applications.  The FAST BEND (FBe) from Prima Finn-Power, North America is a flexible, servo-electric bending machine that can bend five different parts with different thicknesses and alloys in just five minutes.  The enhanced version of Bystronic’s Xpert press brake incorporates a high speed ram positioning system for reduced bending cycle times. |
