TRUMPF names Ophir Optronics a premium supplier

Ophir Optronics, a global leader in precision IR optics components and laser measurement equipment, recently announced that it has been named a TRUMPF Premium Supplier. Germany-based TRUMPF is a world leader in industrial lasers and laser system technology.
“Such recognition from a leading laser technology company validates our focus on high quality, on-time delivery and forward-thinking innovation,” said Yehiel Plaut, Sales and Marketing Director for the CO2 division of Ophir Optronics' Optics Group.
With sales totaling US $1.86 billion and 7,900 employees (preliminary figures for the 2009/10 fiscal year), the TRUMPF Group ranks among the leading manufacturing companies worldwide.
