8 is a Power of Two - Iscar tops supplier rating with Pratt & Whitney again
Written by Rob Colman June, 29 2010
Every year since 2001 Iscar has been invited to Pratt & Whitney in Longueuil, Quebec to accept the award for the top rated tooling supplier — with a score card of 99.2% conformity rate covering all factors of shipping, paperwork, product identification and product tolerance and performance.
Iscar has been working hand in hand with Pratt & Whitney integrator, Bruckner Supply Company to continually achieve the level of service excellence.
On June 16, Iscar’s General Manager Ronnie O’Byrne, Quebec Sales Manager, Daniel Durand, and Aerospace Business Development Manager Denis Cloutier met with Pratt & Whitney Supervisor of MRO and Perishable Tools Provisioning Robert Nault, Mr. Roger Poisson Group Leader -Tool Optimization, and Bruckner Supply PWC Program Manager Michel Leduc to be presented with the award for 2009.
As a complete tooling line supplier, Iscar continues to compliment its own line of cutting tools and retains its status as a market leader of innovative tooling and solutions. They had recently released the SUMO TEC coating technology to increase the performance, profitability and production of it’s end-users with its 3P product line of captive pocket tooling.
