Continuous drill for large depths

Komet has introduced the KOMET KUB Centron Powerline, a new version of the the company’s core bit drill. The concept of a continuous drill for large drilling depths remains the same. However, the addition of "Powerline" indicates a new power level introduced with this variation.
The center drill of the system gives the tool its name. This guides it precisely in the drilling axis and ensures dimensional accuracy, straightness and maximum process reliability at drilling depths of up to 9 x D. The Quatron indexable inserts (with four cutting edges each) ensure maximum stability and optimum chip removal even at maximum drilling depths. Coupled with the design of the cutting head, the new system ensures high performance and higher feed rates in all standard material. Visit Komet at CMTS booth 3516.
