Written by MP&P Staff May, 25 2011
In his new role, Mackowski will be responsible for product management of Eriez’ Hydroflow and Magnamation products. “John will serve as the main liaison between field sales, engineering, production control and manufacturing on product-related issues,” explains Zimmerman.
“As Metalworking Product Manager, John will support the continued integration of the recently acquired Hydroflow product line,” says Zimmerman
Mackowski’s expanded duties include serving as project coordinator on large filtration orders, coordinating the many aspects and parties involved in system orders. Additionally, Mackowski will be responsible for the traditional product management role of customer and field sales support, literature, marketing and trade show support, development of training and sales support materials, as well as coordination of product development with Sales, Engineering and R&D.
“John’s background and degree in Mechanical Engineering, his experience at Eriez in Engineering and Sales and his deep understanding of Eriez’ business processes will help him achieve success in his new role,” Zimmerman comments. “John brings a lot of talent and enthusiasm to Eriez. We are lucky to have him on our team.”
Kloecker previously had served as a Technical Sales Representative. In his new role, he will oversee Eriez’ Metalworking distributor network and support Eriez representatives in the implementation of distribution strategies for sales growth of Eriez equipment to the Metalworking market.
“The recent acquisition of Hydroflow Filtration Systems and Fluid Recycling Equipment presents a significant opportunity to further develop our distributor network and increase the sales of these and other Eriez products to the metalworking market,” says Zimmerman. “Andy’s background in distributor sales and his experience at Eriez make him well-suited for this new and exciting challenge.”
According to Eriez, in addition to Kloecker’s new responsibilities, he will continue to support the sale of all Eriez products to the Metalworking market through all sales channels. Zimmerman explains, “Andy will continue to work closely with distributor, OEM and end-user accounts.”
