 The line of lightweight hydraulic clamps for jigs and fixtures from Kosmek can reduce individual components weight up to 50%, saving both total fixture weight and overall project cost.
This weight savings eliminates the need to purchase a larger machine to
accommodate heavier fixtures, which is a concern when using any type of
moving tables. The lightweight series is available in Kosmek's low
pressure line with a maximum operating pressure of 1,000 psi. Low
pressure also reduces overall project cost by eliminating the need for
stand alone high pressure hydraulic pumps.
