 OMAX abrasive waterjets are versatile, whether making a single prototype part or production runs of thousands of parts, using materials ranging from hardened tool steel to rubber to glass.
The technology is designed for ease of use, running on the Windows XP platform. The design software is compatible with most CAD programs and is quickly learned. Tooling setup is eliminated-once the material to be machined is fixtured, the abrasivejet is ready to begin machining. OMAX offers two large-footprint machines, Models 55100 and 80160, which can accommodate large parts, or machine multiple parts from stock.
