 Hardinge/Bridgeport’s new VMC 1500XP3 range of three-axis vertical machining centres provide extra capacity and increased capability.
The machines are particularly suitable for the machining of exotic materials such as titanium or Nimonics (nickel-based alloys) for aerospace applications. With X, Y, and Z travels of 1500 x 660 x 610 mm (59.6 x 26 x 24 in.) respectively and a table load capacity of 1500 kg (3,300 lbs), these machines have been designed to handle large workpieces and are ideally suited for tough machining operations.
