 The Type C plate processing center from Ficep is a flexible CNC center for punching, marking, drilling, boring, tapping, milling and plasma cutting of heavy plates.
The Type C systems incorporate these multiple ooperation into one CNC line for large plates up to 8 ft. in width x 20 ft. in length and 3/4 in. (optional 1 in.) thickness. The Type C systems feature a bridge type frame which is a welded structure that utilizes high strtength steel that is normalized prior to machining. The maximum punch tonnage of 110 tons is achieved throughout the entire punching stroke by means of a specially engineered hydraulic cylinder.
