 ROMER, a Hexagon Metrology company, has announced the release of DOCS 2.3, a new upgrade of its tube inspection software. Designed to revolutionize quality control in the tubing industry, DOCS (Data Overlay Camera System) 2.3 has numerous features including Auto Single Measure Mode, which further automates the already easy tube inspection process by significantly minimizing operator input requirements. Also, support for multiple languages is now included: English, Chinese (simplified), Czech, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Polish, and Turkish. Used with a ROMER portable CMM, DOCS can inspect and measure round metallic and non-metallic wire, tubing, and piping used in almost any industry including automotive, aerospace, shipbuilding, medical, machinery, appliance, and more.
