Software provides quality, productivity PDF Print E-mail
Cincinnati Machine has introduced the Balance Sensor software feature for detecting imbalance conditions in rotary B-axis tables used on the company’s multi-tasking machining center.
The Balance Sensor feature senses rotary table, fixture, and part imbalance using direct feedback from the machine’s controller. Integrated within the Siemens SINUMERIK 840D control offered on Cincinnati’s range of multi-tasking machining centers, the Balance Sensor feature monitors Z-axis following error to rapidly and accurately sense table imbalance. The software numerically tracks low frequency, five hertz or below irregularities.  Technology reduces machine downtime and maintenance costs.
