 Renishaw (Canada) has added even greater functionality to its Productivity+ software suite that provides a simplified approach to producing probing routines for in-process and final part inspection of parts by the machine tool. Created to allow integrated programming of probing and machining routines, Productivity+ is available both as a plug-in to GibbsCAM software and as a stand-alone package named Active Editor Pro that allows machine tool probe users to produce probing cycles and process control logic without special knowledge. The software is an all-in-one independent solution for creating probing cycles remotely from the machine tool, via a CAD interface that allows a full range of prismatic features to be identified with a single click
