 The DGP Series band saws from Peddinghaus feature a pivot from above portal design that enables only the saw head to move into position.
As a result, miter cuts up to 60° right and left are easily achieved. Movable material clamp vises work with a lifting/lowering conveyor track to ensure rigid clamping at the saw blade, which translates into high performance cutting. The Peddinghaus pivot from above design is also environmentally friendly, as all chips and coolant are isolated away from the saw head assembly. The machine features a 20 hp saw blade motor and gear box and a 2 5/8 in. x .063 in. blade that provides chip removal rates in excess of 22.5 ipm.
