Automated saw cuts aluminum |

 Tannewitz has produced an automated 36 in. bandsaw for automatically cutting aluminum castings. Parts are loaded into fixtures and the hydraulic table automatically moves the parts through the saw blade to precisely cut off the casting to a required dimension.
After the cut off procedure the parts continue through a brush system that removes any burrs that may remain. Once the parts reach the end of the cycle they are automatically ejected and the table and fixture return to the home position for reloading. The bandsaw cuts at 5,000 SFPM providing a very accurate and fast cutting cycle.
