Cutting machine features high positioning accuracy |

 Koike Aronson/Ransome has introduced its Versagraph Millennium cutting machine which features positioning accuracy of plus or minus .005 in. for reduced secondary operations, and dual 3D link plasma contour bevel heads for outstanding production.
Digital servo’s on the machine gantry and 3D link bevel units improve
dependability while the sensor-THC height control maintains consistent
torch-to-work distance. The Versagraph Millennium also features 360°,
continuous rotation without damage to the torch leads; arc maintenance
within .1 arc volts; and magnetic torch breakaway collision detection.
Control is provided by a Voyager-III multi-axis CNC with integrated
height control. Two auto gas plasma systems are available: Kaliburn
Spirit 275A High Current Density, or New Kaliburn 400A High Current
Density.
