The HCN Nexus 6000 from Mazak features a Fanuc robot and is designed as a general-purpose horizontal machining center for contract machine shops.

It features a high-speed, 50-taper, 50 hp, 10,000 rpm spindle with 388 ft-lbs torque as standard equipment. The 500mm pallet is the foundation for a generous work size of 39.3 in. high and 35.4 in. diameter. And, at 111 in. wide, the HCN 6000 is space-efficient, with the lowest machine width in its class. The HCN 6000 offers rapid traverse rates in X, Y, and Z are 2,362 ipm, and acceleration is 0.7G.
