 Accutex EDM has introduced the AU Series wire EDMs that offer a variety of performance features. The EDM's rugged construction features heavily ribbed Meehanite castings designed for optimum thermal heat dissipation.
All AU Series EDMs feature a water-cooled, reinforced high-strength
alloy lower arm. Ultra-high precision axes drives utilize direct-couple
systems with no belts. All components are premium grade including
ultra-finish ball screws and high-resolution servomotors with four
millionths resolution. Glass scales are standard. Intelligent servo
controlled wire threading technology is also standard.
