 Hardinge offers precision CNC tool holders (CAT-V and BT flange) to fit most vertical and horizontal machining centers.
The shank taper accuracy of AT-3 or better exceeds ANSI standards by a
minimum of 35%. Precision ground tool holders with precise
concentricity will result in better surface finishes, more accurate
work pieces and higher productivity. The extremely high precision grind
on the shanks resists fretting that will result in a longer life of the
tool holder and the machine’s spindle. ER and TG collet-style holders
will hold drills, end mills, reamers, taps and boring bars, reducing
the need for separate tool holders for each operation.
