 Stellram"s SC1519 turning grade for gray and ductile iron more than doubles output per insert. More parts per edge means the 4U geometry cuts down on indexing and changeovers in machining gray and ductile iron, saving time and money.
Other benefits include one grade for both gray and ductile iron; increased productivity as far as more parts per edge; new geometry reduces machine power requirements; and hard substrate and new multilayer CVD coating improve wear and deformation resistance.
