 Seco has introduced three new indexable insert threadmills for broader application in a variety of materials.
Two new multi-tooth shell mill styles have been engineered with greater rigidity to provide increased stability, especially for longer reach applications. These multi-tooth threadmills offer advantages such as greater cutting speeds and feeds, and achieve full depth threads in a just single pass on larger ID and OD applications. The new single insert indexable threadmill can produce 19 different threadforms in ID holes as small as one-half inch diameter. All three new threadmills have through coolant capability for improved chip evacuation and consistent thread quality.
