Threading tool system rigid, accurate |

 Sandvik Coromant has introduced CoroThread 266 a new family of rigid high precision threading tools for the oil, gas and mechanical engineering industries.
The first launch of the CoroThread 266 will be in 1/2 in. and 5/8 in.
insert sizes and will be released in Sandvik’s new GC1125 grade. This
laydown threading system uses several proven ideas including the
Ingenious Locking Interface-iLock to offer customers a more rigid, more
accurate and more repeatable threading process than ever before. This
keeps the insert rigid, maintains the correct threading profile to help
reduce out-of-specification product rejection. The insert has a slot
for each of its three indexible cutting edges.
