Drill features innovative coating |

 WALTER recently introduced the new TITEX X-treme PLUS solid carbide drill with its patented double coating (DPL–Double Performance Line).
The new internally cooled high performance drill covers diameters
ranging from 3 to 20mm, and is available for drilling depths of up to
5XD. The innovative double coating is composed of a primer, which acts
as a protective undercoating, and an additional top coating. As a
result, the cutting edges are even more wear resistant. The double
coating produces extremely high cutting data and with conventional
cutting data, the tool service life is significantly increased.
Additionally, the newly designed point on the X-treme PLUS solid
carbide drill with optimized micro-geometry produces low power
consumption and offers outstanding surface qualities. This new
generation of solid carbide drills allows the user to achieve greater
productivity.
