 The MICRO-HITE Direct Computer Control (DCC) coordinate measuring machine from Brown & Sharpe is an economical, high performance CMM designed to improve inspection throughput and accuracy in a variety of measurement and inspection applications.
The MICRO-HITE DCC CMM can be used as a stand-alone, walk-up station for first piece inspection, layout inspection and tool set up, or as a flexible gage. It can handle workpiece sizes up to 17.5 in. x 19.5 in. x 15.5 in. (440 x 490 x 390 mm) representing some 80% of all manufactured parts. The unit offers a speed of 350 mm/second and an acceleration of 1730 mm/second2.
