 Carl Zeiss Industrial Metrology has introduced the new CONTURA G2 coordinate measuring machine. The completely re-designed bridge-type CMM features the next generation scanning platform that offers the same high accuracy with either articulating or active scanning technology.
CONTURA G2 is available in two configurations, CONTURA G2 RDS and
CONTURA G2 AKTIV. CONTURA G2 RDS is designed for measuring complex
features and parts with multiple angles that require smaller styli.
CONTURA G2 AKTIV is ideal for measuring deep features, self-centering,
and high throughput needs. It is available with the high-performance
DynaTouch (DT) sensor for active single-point measuring and with the
VAST XT sensor.
