Press brakes employ four-cylinder technology |

 TRUMPF Inc., Farmington, CT has introduced an updated and improved version of its TrumaBend V Series line of press brakes.
New four-cylinder technology developed by TRUMPF replaces bulky hydraulic cylinders and provides more bending space, superior accuracy, and even higher productivity. Press tonnage for the new models is inceated in kilonewtons. Additional cylinders create higher levels of precision since the press force is applied uniformly to the press beam and tool. Also, greater cylinder surface improves oil cooling and yields higher speeds with minimal output. As a result the repeatable accuracy doubles to 5µm (microns).
