 The SteelPro precision cutting system from MG Systems utilizes unitized construction and true dual longitudinal drives to provide precision cutting of eight foot wide material. True dual drives means that each longitudinal drive has its own motor, which is important for providing the motion performance in this width range.
The result is no backlash due to jack-shaft windup, especially during the high accelerations required for precision cutting. The SteelPro features rapid transverse speeds of 1,000 ipm with motion accuracy of plus or minus 0.008 in. and repeatability of 0.004 in. over the entire cutting surface.
