Laser provides automatic focal positioning |

 Strippit/LVD has expanded its line of Orion CO2 laser cutting systems with the feature-enhanced Orion 3015Plus and the Orion 3015 auto load/unload.
The Orion 3015Plus provides automatic focal positioning, greater
process control functionality, and optional automatic load/unload
system in addition to all standard features found on the Orion. Orion
laser cutting systems allow cost efficient processing of a range of
materials in sheet sizes up to 1500mm x 3000mm. Orion 3015Plus is
enhanced with automatic NC focus which uses an AC servo motor to
automatically adjust to the optimum focal position for the material
being processed. Focal positions for a variety of materials are
automatically determined by the machine’s on-board technology tables
and automatically set using the NC Focus system.
