Machining center meets growing demands PDF Print E-mail
The new H.Plus-300 machining center from Elliott-Matsuura has  been fully remodelled.

The machine which already enjoyed a good reputation for high-speed, high-rigidity and high-accuracy machining, has been remodelled and upgraded by Matsuura to meet the growing demands of customers. In terms of functions, the Y-axis stroke has been widened by 60 mm (totaling 560 mm) for longer work-piece machining but at the same time Matsuura has reduced the required floor space by 15%. A faster ATC tool change time for the increased number of standard tools (51 from 31). In addition Matsuura has reduced non-cutting time by increasing the X/Y/Z-axis feed and rapid rates to 60 m/min.  The speed of the fourth axis/index table has also been increased to 100min-1 by implementing the use of a direct drive motor.
