 J Schneeberger Corporation has introduced the new Norma CFG microTools-the firm’s newest development in its line of tool and cutter grinding machines.
The Norma CFG features a solid polymer concrete base, 50 nanometer
scale resolution on all linear axes and the latest control technology
from Fanuc. An innovative three-point support system, coupled with a
floating collet allows manufacturing of tools with diameters down to
0.020 in. with minimal TIR. Set-ups are simplified by the integrated
vision system. Other features include two different loader options and
a double-ended spindle for multiple wheel packs.
