 MAX-TEK has introduced the AGC 100 automatic grinding center. The AGC 100 is a two-axis grinding center which uses plated and vitrified CBN wheels for superabrasive high production applications such as chucking of small components such
as variable vane journals, gear facings, O-rings and more.
The AGC 100 utilizes a high tensile Meehanite one piece massive base
and bed for high rigidity and superior vibration dampening for
efficient superabrasive grinding and work spindle performance. The
machine features a compact, easily accessible part loading area for
setup and wheel exchange, Z and X axis linear guideways mounted on
precision ground bed for smooth and accurate travel and machining
motion.
