 ISCAR’s TANG-GRIP parting line is based on a unique tangential insert design for high productivity that provides superior flatness and surface finish, using the latest SUMO TEC 800 series grades.
This single-ended insert performs parting, grooving and interrupted
grooving operations and features very rigid clamping, a tangentially
oriented pocket which enables machining at high feeds and extends tool
life. TANG-GRIP tools have no upper clamp, which guarantees
unobstructed easy chip flow. Due to this unique tool design, the insert
cannot be pulled out during retraction
