 ISCAR has introduced SUMOTURN, a series of tools and inserts for heavy duty turning operations.
The SUMOTURN line features large-sized inserts for heavy duty turning
single- and double-sided inserts. CNMM, CNMG and SNMG geometries
combined with new SUMO TEC grade inserts can produce large chips. These
SUMOTURN inserts are made from the SUMO TEC 5000 grades for cast iron
and SUMO TEC 8000 grades for machining steel and stainless steel.
