Tools employ rigid clamping mechanism |

 Iscar has introduced new grooving and parting tools under its UPGRADE campaign.
The tools feature a stable, rigid clamping mechanism that also leads to
high part straightness and superior surface finish. Some of the new
tools are designed for heavy duty parting applications for the pipe
industry, using a wide cutting edge for parting off steel, stainless
steel, titanium and other workpiece materials. For example, the new
JET-CUT can be used for parting of steel, stainless steel,titanium, and
other exotic materials. The coolant is directed to the cutting zone,
preventing any built-up occurrence on the cutting edge leading to
longer tool life.
