Tool enhances deep hole drilling efficiency |

 Sandvik Coromant has released the CoroDrill 805, a new tool that increases the efficiency of deep hole drilling.
The CoroDrill 805 enables the drilling of deep holes without moving the
workpiece to a dedicated machine. The CoroDrill 805 allows for higher
productivity and reliability while providing quality on par with
traditional deep hole drilling. Additionally, the tool allows all
operations to be completed in a single setup, increasing efficiency.
The CoroDrill 805 is available in diameters ranging from .98 in. to
2.56 in. with length-to-diameter ratios of 7 to 13 times the diameter.
In most applications, the CoroDrill 805 can achieve deep hole drilling
without requiring extra coolant pump capacity.
