 With taper and flange dual contact, Lyndex-Nikken"s new 3Lock System improves machine tool cutting performance and increases cutting tool life. The 3Lock System"s internal expanding pressure capability maintains correct taper to flange ratio.
Counteracting the centrifugal force produced from the machine spindle, the 3Lock eliminates vibration and promotes smooth cutting. These benefits result in an improved cutting tool life; almost double that of competitor systems. Studies conducted by Lyndex-Nikken, in fact, determined that cutting tools combined with the 3Lock last significantly longer than those used with the HSK or standard CAT40.
