 The Precise Corporation has introduced PKZ high speed spindle packages. Without major retrofit efforts, a user can quickly install a PKZ high speed spindle system into an existing VMC or HMC and be machining at 50,000 rpm at a very low installation cost of less than $7000.
The precise PKZ system can adapt to the taper of the main machine spindle. Since the PKZ spindle has its own self-contained electric motor, there is no need to operate the main machine spindle, eliminating unnecessary wear and tear, and saving real dollars in machine operating costs.
