Software improves measuring applications |

Carl Zeiss has introduced CALYPSO 4.6, a new version of the CAD-based measuring software. CALYPSO improves combined optical and contact measuring with multi-sensor applications. For users, this primarily means additional time savings coupled with even more reliable, error-free measuring: whether contact or optical measuring, scanning or single-point measuring. CALYPSO combines several measurement strategies per geometric element in a single measurement plan, which can be optionally executed. Contact and optical measuring methods complement each other ideally with many workpieces. Carl Zeiss took this into account with the introduction of MASS Technology (Multiple Application Sensor System).
