 Xspect Solutions has introduced a new family of X-Cite coordinate measuring machines designed to be both a manual and direct computer controlled (DCC) machine.
The X-Cite can be upgraded to full DCC without changing the machine footprint which allows the CMM investment to be phased in over multiple budget period. The X-Cite has been designed and built to exacting and rugged machine tool standards. It uses the latest in granite and honeycomb alloy structure providing natural vibration dampening. With a granite Y beam design, air bearings can be preloaded in both directions allowing for very high accuracy.
