 Mitutoyo has introduced the latest technology in roundness measurement inspection with its new Extreme RA-2100 CNC and Extreme RA-H5100 CNC models.
With the introduction of these systems, high-speed, automated roundness, cylindrical form testing, and surface roughness measurement is now a reality. The CNC control adds speed and automation to roundness measuring, and eliminates operator error. The CNC functionality speeds the set-up process by automating the centering, leveling and detector positioning process. A new rotating detector head with 360 degree range, adds a unique capability of capturing measurement data from virtually any surfaces of complicated workpieces.
