 The PHOENIX DCC from HELMEL is a new shop hardened CMM for small and medium sized parts.
The PHOENIX DCC has a capacity of 12 in. x 12 in. x 10 in., complimenting the larger version at 20 in. x 16 in. x 14 in., and features fully covered ways, bearings and scales for full shop protection. The scales are metal on steel structures for uniform thermal response. The PHOENIX is a moving bridge design with a full granite table on a sturdy stand that houses the electronics and computer. Hardened and precision ground ways with high accuracy mechanical bearings assure long term reliability.
