Machine integrates advanced processes PDF Print E-mail
The GMX 250 linear from DMG Canada integrates the most advanced milling and turning processes for complete six-side machining. The key features of the GMX 250 linear include the linear drive along the Z axis, the six highly stable bed slideways, and a 12,000 rpm milling spindle with a long Y-axis and a B-axis allowing user-definable interpolations. Other critical features include a turret for 12 powered tools, absolute measuring systems, the 46-/80-station tool shelf magazine, and the DMG Programmer 3D turning system for simple, fast, and reliable programming. The GMX 250 linear sets new standards for chucking components accepting workpieces up to 1,185mm in length and a 400mm in diameter and for bar machining on pieces up to 100mm in diameter. The machine employs high-torque spindle motors and a precise 12,000 rpm milling and turning spindle with Y and B axes.
