Machine features unique milling spindle PDF Print E-mail
Mazak’s INTEGREX e-1060V/8 II multi-tasking center provides full turning and milling capabilities and features a unique milling spindle that tilts up to 150° to allow both horizontal and vertical machining operations, angle boring and milling on multiple faces.
The machine also offers full simultaneous five-axis cutting to reduce throughput time for large parts of substantial complexity. Like other Mazak INTEGREX verticals, the INTEGREX e-1060V/8 II headstock features a powerful 50 hp, 10,000 rpm milling spindle for full five-axis heavy-duty machining on the B-axis with 150º (minus 30º to plus 120º) rotation for vertical, horizontal, and angular cutting.  Also running at 50 hp, the machine’s turning spindle operates up to 500 rpm max. The INTEGREX e-1060V/8 II delivers ultra-high accuracies on turned, angled, and sculptured part characteristics, inside and out, often without moving the workpiece after its initial clamping.
