Siemens to supply wind turbines to Samsung C&T and Pattern Energy for the Ontario market |

|
On August 10th, Siemens, Samsung C&T and Pattern Energy announced an agreement for the supply of up to 600 MW of Siemens wind turbines to serve the Ontario renewables market. Siemens will build Ontario’s first blade factory as part of a plan to meet Samsung and Pattern Energy’s demand. The development of this agreement, under Ontario’s Green Energy Act and the associated Feed-in Tariff (FIT) program, will provide Ontario consumers enough sustainable clean electricity each year to power more than 240,000 homes.

 The ISCAR HELIDO line of milling cutters is now available with H490 ANKX/ANCX 0904… 9 mm inserts to improve milling of smaller parts. They can enable increased insert density to produce a finer finish or reduce chip loads at elevated feed rates. The new small inserts are available for ISCAR’s H490 E90AX…-09 endmills in diameters down to 16 mm and H490 F90AX…-09 32 mm for face mills.
